Proudly serving Finley since 1955
In 1946, twenty-two local diggers decided to form a “returned soldiers club” that met every Friday night, playing cards, darts and various other games. They purchased an old army hut from Hay and had a local carrier, Ernie Willard, relocate the hut to 37 Denison Street. On 24 December 1955, the Finley Returned Soldiers Club (RSC) was granted a full license. With this we purchased a hostel from the Tocumwal Catholic School for about £1,200 and moved to the present site at 63-67 Tocumwal Street. The club continued to expand and, on 9 October 1972, we officially became the Finley Returned Soldiers Club Limited.
For the last sixty years, we have strived to serve the community with a consistent standard of service and the best country hospitality.
